Hi. My name is Roger. I'm 65, and I've been around the world 5 times. I've been a counselor off and on for thirty years, and I've had a private practice for the last 10 years. Now I live in Schenectady and I offer life coaching. It can be face-to-face or over the phone or Skype. I find a lot of what I do is teaching skills, kind of like being a coach. I'm experienced and gentle, and I can help most people.

INDIVIDUALS:
I work with people of all ages looking for empowerment, self confidence, to live a better life. You might be depressed or anxious, or in need of hope. You might be depressed or anxious or frustrated,or wanting better relationships. You might be dealing with conflict or abuse. Any job is easy when you have the right tools, they say. With the right tools you can deal with all these things.
COUPLES:
I also work with couples. Working with couples is a thrill sport. We'll probably need to talk about your complaints about each other, what you want from each other, and what makes you feel loved. We'll probably need to talk about safety, freedom, negotiating, self defense, time outs, and possibly blame, guilt, criticism, directness and expressiveness. Most relationships, even the distressed ones, are fixable. I tend to work when other people don't: evenings and weekends. But I work in the daytime too.
